Thank you to all who participated in our MLK day of service at Taylor Park community garden today on Saturday January 17th, 2026. We had 37 volunteers at our peak! With all of this support, we were able to wood chip the around the beds in the garden to help with maintenance upkeep and easier access.

This event was made possible thanks to the preparation labor of the Student Conservation Association GulfCorps crew. The crew prepared the area for cardboard placement to block out sunlight and then laid landscaping fabric.

Special shout out to the large group from Kappa Zeta Sigma Rhoer Club that attended!
